Set your own limits 
With Bewust Online, all Ben customers can easily set limits on out-of-bundle data usage via the app or the ‘Ik Ben’ environment, both within and outside the EU. Bewust Online is enabled by default, so existing and new customers don’t need to take any action unless they want to adjust their limits. Limits can be adjusted at any time, which is useful if you suddenly need more data while on the go or prefer to stay offline during a holiday. An SMS warning is sent when 80 percent of the set limit is reached. At 100 percent, data traffic is automatically stopped. Bewust Online replaces ‘MB Pause’ and ‘Internetlimiet buiten de EU’ and is available free of charge to all customers.

Significantly lower rates
Since the end of November 2025, Ben customers in the Netherlands and the EU pay just €0.01 per MB for out-of-bundle data (€10 per GB). Outside the EU, the rate has been reduced to €0.02 per MB (€20 per GB). In countries such as Thailand, the United States and Turkey, this represents a reduction of more than 99 percent.” As is already the case for Odido and Simpel, data traffic on the North Sea via Tampnet will now also fall under ‘Roam Like at Home’ for Ben customers. This puts an end to high roaming charges at sea.  "With Bewust Online, we are making mobile data usage fairer, simpler and more affordable, wherever you are. Bewust Online has been active since 1 December and can easily be adjusted via ‘Ik Ben’ (web) and, following an app update, also in the Ben app.
