Klik&Klaar Internet: Odido first provider in the Netherlands to introduce fast alternative to wired internet at home

Today Odido announces a full-fledged new choice for fixed internet. Odido's Klik&Klaar Internet is a new product with the benefits of high speed internet at home, wherever you are in the Netherlands. Thanks to the Klik&Klaar modem, users are no longer dependent on the type of fixed internet connection available at the address. Klik&Klaar Internet uses Odido's 5G network and the recently acquired 3,5 GHz frequencies for high-speed internet. With the national rollout of 3,5 GHz in the coming years, Klik&Klaar Internet will also be the first solution for the nearly 20,000 addresses in the Netherlands where fibre optic cable is not being installed. Klik&Klaar Internet will be available this fall.

Lightning-fast 5G network
Thanks to the renewed, strong mobile 5G network that uses the 3,5 GHz frequencies, Odido can offer a full-fledged alternative for fast Internet at home with Klik&Klaar Internet. The 3,5 GHz band allows for even higher mobile speeds. Odido is leading the way in the Netherlands in activating the 3,5 GHz band, allowing its customers to benefit from high internet speeds, even in places where this was not previously possible. Odido already offers coverage of 75 to 80 percent of all of the Netherlands. By the end of this year, all of Odido's antennas throughout the Netherlands will be ready to use the 3,5 GHz frequency.

Odido therefore unveils the new innovation on the day of the company's 1-year anniversary to get started with the first customer tests. “Odido started a year ago with a clear mission: everyone should be able to participate. How it works
You don't have to wait for Klik&Klaar Internet. With its plug-and-play design, the new high-speed internet solution can be used immediately upon receipt through a simple installation app. Users will pay a surprisingly low monthly price for Klik&Klaar Internet. Starting this fall, Klik&Klaar Internet will be available to everyone through Odido shops and online via the website.

Klik&Klaar Internet no longer requires a fixed Internet connection and you are therefore not depending on which provider provides services in your zip code, as the modem connects directly to Odido's 5G network. This new network uses the recently acquired 3,5 GHz frequencies. This makes it possible to offer customers even higher mobile speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s. As a result, fast and reliable internet is now available everywhere.

“In the Netherlands, there are almost 20,000 addresses where fiber optic is not installed. In addition, there are zip codes that depend on one provider for fixed Internet.
