Odido introduces ESPN Basis and offers football fans more options

Customers who do not watch football should not have to pay for it, while those who do should have the freedom to choose how they watch. That is why Odido is expanding its ESPN offering with ESPN Basis today. For €3,99 per month, customers can watch all four ESPN channels live on their television. This provides an affordable way for football fans to follow their favourite matches at home, without paying for extra features they do not use. For customers who want to watch on the go, record matches or watch them back at a later time, ESPN Compleet is also available. At the same time, customers who do not need additional football content do not have to pay for it. This gives customers greater control over both their TV subscription and costs.

Three variants, your own choice
With ESPN Basis, Odido responds to the different ways in which the Dutch watch football. For many football fans, it is mainly about following their favourite club live on the big screen. With ESPN Basis, they can watch all four ESPN channels for €3,99 per month, without paying for extra functionalities. Customers who want more flexibility can choose ESPN Compleet (€12,50 per month), which also allows them to watch on the go and use features such as recording and watching back.

“We believe customers should be able to decide for themselves whether they want to pay for additional football content. Not everyone is a football fan, and even those who are may not need all the additional features. So why pay for them by default? With ESPN Basis, customers can watch all ESPN channels at home for less than four euros per month. Those who want more flexibility or additional features can choose ESPN Compleet. It is about giving customers the freedom to choose what suits their needs and only pay for what they actually use. All ESPN channels for less than four euros per month
With ESPN Basis, customers watch live matches from the Eredivisie, the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the Vrouwen Eredivisie and the KNVB Beker. Programmes such as Voetbalpraat, De Eretribune en ESPN Vandaag can also be watched, as well as documentaries and Club TV. In addition, international competitions such as the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL can be followed via the four ESPN channels.

ESPN Basis is available via the TV receiver and smart TV. Odido thus offers customers the following options:

• ESPN 1: included as standard in the TV Basis package
• ESPN Basis: €3,99 extra per month for ESPN 1, 2, 3 and 4 on TV
• ESPN Compleet: €12,50 extra per month for ESPN Watch, ESPN 1, 2, 3 and 4, including watching on the go, recording and watching back
