Odido launches outdoor modem for '5G Internet for Business'

In addition to Odido's popular 5G Internet for Business product, the telecom provider today launches a new outdoor modem: 5G Internet Pro. With the introduction of the outdoor modem for Odido's Fixed Wireless Access solution, reception is optimized, even higher speeds can be achieved, and up to twice as many devices can be connected. Since April 2025, businesses have already been benefiting from fast 5G Internet for Business from Odido, and with this new type, FWA will become suitable for more intensive use. Pre-orders for the new variant of 5G Internet for Business can be placed from today onwards. 

In April 2025, Odido Business became the first telecom operator to introduce 5G Internet for Business, a business market adaptation of the popular Klik&Klaar Internet product for the consumer market. With 5G Internet for Business, there is more choice in connectivity for the business segment: fixed fiber optic internet or fully wireless via 5G. With the launch of 5G Internet Pro, Odido Business is now taking the next step: even higher speeds and double capacity thanks to a specially developed outdoor modem. This enables Odido to offer a customer-focused solution for business challenges that require more capacity and where continuous online connectivity is crucial, regardless of location or existing infrastructure.

Thanks to the outdoor modem, the 5G signal is brought directly from outside to indoors. As a result, businesses no longer need to worry about coverage in well-isolated buildings. The Pro edition delivers even more capacity, higher download speeds of up to 500 Mbit/s, maximum upload speeds of 50 Mbit/s, and capacity and stability for twice as many devices (20 instead of 10).
