Odido new partner of the Esther Vergeer Foundation: Together for sports fun for every child

The Esther Vergeer Foundation is proud to welcome Odido as a new partner with the common goal of getting children with physical disabilities or chronic conditions moving in a positive way. With this partnership, they are committed to an inclusive sports world where every child has the opportunity to participate. An important part of the cooperation with Odido is the Esther Vergeer Foundation Sport Camp - an annual, multi-day camp that will start in two days in Arnhem. At the sports camp, 50 children can enjoy three days without their parents, but with peers who, like them, have a physical disability or chronic illness. They play sports, games, have fun and build friendships for life.

TeamNL Paralympic Talent Days
The cooperation is part of Odido's ambition to encourage sports participation by everyone in the Netherlands. Therefore, in addition to the cooperation for the sports camps, Odido will also involve the Esther Vergeer Foundation in the TeamNL Talent Days. Since last year, the telecom provider and TeamNL have been organizing additional Talent Days and rolling out new innovations to find more potentially talented athletes. The urgency of this is great because at the time of Covid-19, no TeamNL Paralympic Talent Days were organized. This resulted in no new influx of athletes with disabilities for the LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032 batch. This is how Odido, NOC*NSF and TeamNL aim to make the Netherlands the sportiest country in the world.
