Simpel launches Simpel Internet: Affordable fibre broadband for your home

Following Sim Only, Simpel is now making home internet simple and affordable too, with an introductory offer of €1 per month for the first year.

Today, Simpel launches Simpel Internet: high-quality fibre broadband for the home, without unnecessary extras and at a low price. Simpel has been making a difference with its affordable SIM-only plans for years and is now taking the next step by expanding into home internet. Customers can choose from three speeds and only pay for the internet that suits their needs, without being tied to mandatory TV packages. As an introductory offer, customers taking out a two-year fibre broadband plan will pay just €1 per month for the first twelve months.

More for less
Simpel has deliberately chosen to offer fibre broadband only, as it is fast, reliable and future-ready. To provide this service, Simpel uses high-quality fibre networks across the Netherlands. With a special introductory price of €1 per month, Simpel is giving customers the opportunity to experience its home internet service. After the introductory period, plans start from €35 per month.

The right speed for every household
Some people mainly use the internet for browsing and messaging, while others stream, game and make video calls at the same time. That is why Simpel Internet offers three different speeds: 100 Mbit/s, 500 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s. Customers simply choose the speed that suits their usage, without mandatory TV or channel packages or other unnecessary extras.

“With its SIM-only plans, Simpel has been proving for years that good quality does not have to be expensive or complicated. We are now bringing that same philosophy to the home internet market,” says Tisha van Lammeren, Chief Commercial Officer Mass Market at Odido Netherlands. “Consumers want a stable fibre connection at home, but no longer want to pay for fixed extras they barely use. By focusing on the essentials, we make high-quality internet accessible to a broad audience. After all, it only makes sense to pay for what you actually use.”

Availability
Simpel Internet will be rolled out gradually across the Netherlands. Customers can enter their postcode to check whether Simpel Internet is available at their address. Switching is easy, and Simpel will arrange the transfer with the customer’s current provider.
