Odido announces collaboration with world champion Marrit Steenbergen in preparation for Paris 2024
Mini-documentary offers unique insight into the team behind the top athlete
As a proud partner of NOC*NSF, TeamNL, and Dutch sports, Odido today announces a collaboration with Olympic swimmer Marrit Steenbergen. Steenbergen is part of several athletes with whom Odido will work more closely in this Olympic year. The collaboration was announced through a mini-documentary.
Following the recent ISU World Short Track Championships, where Odido introduced Xandra Velzeboer as an ambassador, the telecom provider will announce multiple athletes, including Marrit Steenbergen, as ambassadors through personal videos leading up to the Olympic Games. These videos will share personal stories about the team behind our Olympic athletes and emphasize the invaluable role of volunteers, family members, friends, and fans. The stories of the ambassadors and their teams provide a unique insight into the dedication, passion, and support that are inseparable from elite sports. Odido aims to inspire and encourage the whole of the Netherlands to move more with these personal stories.
Inspiring Stories
Tisha van Lammeren, Chief Commercial Officer Mass Market at Odido: "It is an honor to collaborate with amazing athletes like Marrit and share their inspiring stories with the Netherlands. As a young girl, I spent many hours in swimming pools striving to become the best, so it is special to be able to share Marrit's story. Volunteers, family members, friends, and fans play a crucial role in the success of our Olympians, and we are proud to highlight their contributions. As a top athlete, you need the people around you to give everything you've got. Because the network behind the athlete is also invaluable. Together with TeamNL, we aim to get the Netherlands moving. Through our collaboration with our newly appointed ambassadors, we hope to further excite and inspire the Netherlands."
Marrit Steenbergen: "I am proud that Odido recognizes the team of people who support me daily in my swimming career and on my journey to the Olympic Games. That the silent forces behind my performances will also become visible. They deserve that, because we perform together."
