An intimate portrait of the talented short track skater, where Odido not only highlights Xandra but also sheds light on the people behind the top athlete. In addition to Xandra's story, Odido ensures that during the upcoming Short Track World Championships, the entire Netherlands can share special messages of support with the short track team. These messages will be displayed on special screens in the athletes' lounge and in the stadium during the championships. Fans can leave words of encouragement for the short track team through the special 'Show your support' portal, visible to the athletes before and during the competitions.

Olympic sports year
The ISU Short Track World Championships 2024 in the Netherlands also marks an important kickoff for Odido in the Olympic sports year. As the official partner of TeamNL, Odido supports various Olympic and Paralympic sports. This support begins with the 'Nederlandse Loterij ISU Short Track World Championships 2024 presented by Odido,' taking place from Friday, March 15, to Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Rotterdam Ahoy. Following the Short Track World Championships, Odido will share more personal stories about the teams behind our Olympic athletes throughout this Olympic year. Additionally, new ways for Dutch sports fans to cheer on the Olympians and Paralympians will be available in Paris.

"The Short Track World Championships at Ahoy mark the starting point of a remarkable sports year for us. Less than half a year ago, the Netherlands got to know Odido and our new positioning. During the Short Track World Championships in our own country and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we can perfectly showcase what we want to contribute to as partners of Dutch sports," says Leo Hensen, Director of Marketing & Communications. "Volunteers, family members, friends, and fans are crucial because the network behind the athlete is invaluable. We have searched for these beautiful stories and will continue to highlight them throughout the year. I am looking forward to the coming months, where stories like that of Xandra Velzeboer can make a difference."
